Donation Guide
Our meditation practices, integral to yoga, are here to support the living wages of those guiding you each week—not to generate profit. Offered on a donation basis, we invite you to contribute based on your resources and what you feel moved to share.
We recognize that we all come from diverse backgrounds and face varying financial realities due to systemic inequalities. Every donation, regardless of size, is valued. When donating, reflect on your own privileges or challenges shaped by factors like caste, race, gender identity, class, sexual orientation, and physical ability.
To help you decide on an appropriate donation, we've included some suggested amounts and guidelines. If you're outside the UK, please adjust based on your local market standards. These suggestions are inspired by Lorie, founder of Soma Sanctrum, who has been instrumental in supporting my healing through somatic therapy.
Our hope is that this donation model is a small step towards addressing intersectional financial inequities.
Additionally, 15% of all donations will be contributed to Equality Labs, a South Asian Dalit civil rights organisation fighting caste apartheid, gender-based violence, Islamophobia, and white supremacy.
Join us in this journey of mindful giving and collective healing. Your support helps bridge gaps and fosters a more equitable society.
